To ensure the best performance of this classic humidor, we recommend the following:
Seasoning: Before placing cigars inside, gently wipe the cedar wood with distilled water and let it sit for 24-48 hours to allow the wood to absorb moisture, preventing it from absorbing the moisture from the cigars themselves.
Calibration: We recommend periodically calibrating the pointer hygrometer (fine-tuning to 75% RH) to ensure accurate readings.
Cigar Arrangement: Place longer cigars at the bottom and shorter cigars on the tray, leaving a 1 cm gap for air circulation.
Storage: Please store the humidor in a cool, shaded place, avoiding direct sunlight that could damage the piano lacquer finish or cause drastic temperature fluctuations inside the humidor.
